The Office for Equal Opportunities, Family Affairs and Diversity is the place to go on campus for handling the daily demands of different stages in life – providing support and advice relating to equal opportunities, family matters and diversity, and managing provisions for staff and students to help them coordinate their family lives with their working/study commitments and carve out their career prospects.

Kempten University of Applied Sciences was awarded the “family-friendly university audit” seal of quality for the third time on 27 June 2018 in Berlin.
The basic concept of being a family-friendly university is a core element of the profile and culture of Kempten University of Applied Sciences. This involves understanding and perceiving the needs of members of the university at different stages of life.
Striving to ensure family-friendly studying and working conditions should create effects both within the organisation and externally – as part of our social duty; as a hive of innovation, education and training for students; and as a regionally networked and appealing place to work and study.
