Advice from Bayrische Patentallianz GmbH

The Bayrische Patentallianz GmbH (“BayPAT”) evaluates and supports Kempten University of Applied Sciences in analysing inventions reported by staff.

Criteria for examination and assessment by BayPAT:

  • The inventor/inventor community expressly commissions BayPAT in the invention disclosure form,
  • The invention has the potential to be patented and exploited,
  • It seems unlikely that the inventor or the inventor community will successfully gain partners in industry for the innovative technology (no large network of industry contacts).
