About Campus Alps
Join students from around the world for an unforgettable international learning experience in the heart of the Bavarian Alps.
Campus Alps is Kempten University of Applied Sciences' new international short-term programme. Combining academic excellence, intercultural exchange and Alpine experiences, the programme offers a unique opportunity to earn credits, collaborate with international peers, and explore one of Germany's most beautiful regions.
From 7 to 22 January 2027, participants will attend intensive academic modules, work in an international environment, and take part in cultural and outdoor activities showcasing the region's distinctive Alpine character.
The programme includes:
- Two days of skiing, including instruction
- Two organised excursions in the region
- Opportunities to visit destinations such as Munich and Neuschwanstein Castle
- International networking and intercultural exchange
- A genuine winter experience in the Bavarian Alps

Academic Excellence
Earn 8 ECTS credits in just 2.5 weeks by taking part in intensive, practical teaching in an international learning environment.

Track 1
1A Business Simulation: Gain practical insights into decision-making processes, strategic management, and business challenges through this interactive, simulation-based learning experience.
1B Design Thinking for Sustainable Innovation: Explore, ideate and connect. Work on interdisciplinary challenges, develop innovative ideas, and collaborate with international teams.
Track 2
2A Climate Change and Sustainability: Explore current sustainability challenges and develop solutions for a more resilient future.
2B Ski Engineering: Design, Build and Analyze – From the construction to the custom-designed topsheet. Build a pair of skis with us.
International Experience
Study alongside students from Kempten University of Applied Sciences and partner universities around the world. Work in international teams, exchange ideas across cultures, and develop professional and personal relationships that will last long after the programme has ended.

| Fees and accommodation | €200 for international students. Please note: Travel expenses, accommodation costs and any fees for renting ski or snowboard equipment are not included in the programme fee and must be covered by participants. |
