Grey Technical Centre

The Grey Technical Centre covers the fields of additive manufacturing, development and design together with packaging solutions.
It also offers a wide range of possibilities for storing foodstuffs and consumer goods under controlled conditions.

Further equipment in the Grey Technical Centre includes a 3D hand-scanner, an FLM printer, an ultrasound welding machine, a hand-sealing device and a well-equipped workshop.

White Technical Centre

The White Technical Centre ensures optimum hygienic working conditions thanks to its separate product and personnel airlock. This zone offers wide-ranging potential for working on and processing foodstuffs – and then subsequently packaging them or filling sensitive products hygienically.

Further equipment in the White Technical Centre includes a vacuum-chamber machine, a dosing unit, a surface-disinfection cabinet, and a clean/workbench.

Packaging Laboratory

The Packaging Laboratory is used for precisely analysing all kinds of packaging – Both materials (e.g. cardboard or foils) and formats (e.g. pots or bottles) – mechanically, spectroscopically and microscopically. We can also evaluate functional properties, particularly water vapour and oxygen permeation.

Further equipment in the Packaging Laboratory includes permeation measuring cells (for oxygen and water vapour), a gas analyser, thickness gauges and a Cobb tester.

Products Laboratory

The Products Laboratory has an extensive range of equipment for analysing both specific materials and the basic chemical/physical properties of both liquid and solid foodstuffs.

Further equipment in the Products Laboratory includes a near-infrared spectroscope, a fluorescent spectrometer, a water activity meter, a Clark electrode, a centrifuge, a pH meter and various analytical scales.

Sensory Laboratory

The Sensory Laboratory is equipped to prepare and conduct both sensory sampling and also physical examinations of foodstuffs. For example, the human senses can be augmented with mechanical textural analyses and colour measurements.

Please get in touch if you would be interested in conducting tests and analyses using our equipment.
