Welcome to Forschungszentrum Allgäu (FZA) – Allgäu Research Centre

Around 70 professors and around 160 research assistants are involved in research and development projects at the Allgäu Research Centre (FZA). The Allgäu Research Centre as a scientific institution consists of 16 research institutes, which are assigned to the four research priority areas of energy, mobility, production and social innovation. The success of the research is based in particular on cross-institute and cross-faculty cooperation. The expertise of professors from the Faculties of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. Computer Science, Business Administration, Social and Health Studies and Tourism Management is brought into the research.

The FZA Service team supports the researchers as a central contact and coordination centre in all phases of the research and transfer projects.
