Nurturing and encouraging students both during and after their studies is one of our key concerns at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. Indeed, we offer numerous opportunities to apply the theoretical knowledge that students acquire hands-on in a scientific environment.

Forschungszentrum Allgäu (FZA) – Allgäu Research Centre invites you to get involved early on as a student assistant, by writing your dissertation (“final thesis”) in one of the many research teams, or taking up a position as a scientific staff member after graduating, and then working on a doctoral thesis.

The following pages contain everything you need to know about conducting scientific work as a postgraduate and embarking upon doctoral studies.
