Why choose this specialisation?

In the commercial domain of a company, the close interlinking between business, taxation and legal problems is frequently an everyday issue. The internationalisation of business especially requires managers to possess the skills to structure taxation facts of life and to spot and avoid impending conflicts. It is becoming increasingly valuable to be able to represent taxation matters convincingly during negotiations or in contact with tax advisers and auditors.

However, the ever-expanding number of companies listed on the stock exchange means that the growing importance of a company’s worth also needs to be reflected in the strategic taxation aim of ‘making full use of all possible permutations to minimise the tax burden’ by increasingly using internal tax specialists.
