
The master’s degree programme in Human Resource Management is run jointly by Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Kempten University of Applied Sciences and Landshut University of Applied Sciences. The consecutive master’s degree programme in Human Resource Management provides comprehensive, detailed and cutting-edge knowledge of the field of human resources. You can expect a practically focused, high-level programme, true to our motto ‘Performance driven by professionalism’.
This scientifically robust and very practically focused programme of study covers the entire spectrum of national and international human resources work. The curriculum systematically prepares you to tackle complex tasks in human resources management with clear-cut professionalism. Our goal is to prepare you for an entry-level position in HR management bearing responsibility.
The first two semesters are devoted to the transfer of knowledge and actively developing and consolidating selected topics, with modules focusing on the topics of operational human resources management (recruiting, performance management, staff development, working time management), strategic content (HR cost planning and controlling), labour and social law, and change management skills. We attach great importance to enabling you to understand and steer current developments – therefore teaching your expertly in dedicated modules on HR IT, digitalised human resources processes and data protection.
The quality of employees and their level of training are a decisive success factor for companies. Human resources are increasingly becoming a key resource. However, growing competition is forcing companies to use their resources sparingly and to rely on professional management of human resources. The master’s degree programme in Human Resource Management responds precisely to these developments, training students to work proficiently in all aspects of human resource management.
