The Careers Service forms an interface between the university and industry, reinforcing the existing network with our wide range of partners. The service that we provide involves developing sources of information and advice to assist with the transition to employment,
with the aim of providing guidance and support in the following areas:
- Fields of work and job market
- Career planning and application process
- Personal development/key qualifications
- Software skills.
Make use of free of charge workshops, seminars and individual consultations to further your personal development.

How to register / sign up
Please register to attend any of the events during Winter Semester 2025/26 in MeinCampus.
The deadline for signing up is 10 days before each event. Dann erfolgt auch die Platzvergabe durch uns: Ihr Status angemeldet (AN) wechselt auf zugelassen oder Warteliste. Im Career Service erfolgt die Zulassung nach dem "first come first served"-Prinzip. Alle angemeldeten Studierenden erhalten nach Platzvergabe auch eine E-Mail-Bestätigung von uns.
If you are interested in an event at short notice (1-9 days bevore each event), please email the Career Service and send the following information: Surname/First name, Student ID. no., Name and date of the event.
Please note: You commit to attending an event by signing up!
Withdrawal
If it turns out that you can’t attend after all, please cancel as early as possible in MeinCampus. This is vital in order to free up your space for someone else who would like to attend. The guide also contains instructions on how to withdraw.
Ab 10 Tage vor einer Veranstaltung muss die Abmeldung per E-Mail an uns erfolgen.
Waiting list
If an event is already fully booked, we can put your name on the waiting list. Sehr oft erreichen uns (auch kurzfristige) Absagen und Sie rutschen nach und dürfen die Veranstaltung besuchen. Es lohnt sich also auf jeden Fall, dass Sie sich den Termin freihalten!
