Can a single degree programme manage to roll technological advances, economic growth and social transformation into one? Industrial Engineering – Mechanical Engineering certainly can. Besides acquiring precise specialist knowledge, you will learn to identify how things fit together overall, act flexibly and work effectively with other people.

What’s unusual about industrial engineers? They aren’t fixated purely on either technological progress, economic growth, or social change, but rather – thanks to being an all-rounder – observe the continuous interplay between all three dynamics.

Work as an industrial engineer in the field of mechanical engineering means interlinking technical, business, social and international tasks. It is therefore essential to understand the full picture of structures and processes to act with appropriate circumspection. And that’s exactly what this degree programme hones in on. Throughout your studies, we support you with tutorials, small learning groups, special programmes for students and intensive mentoring for internships and bachelor theses. We offer a preliminary maths course especially for students in the first semester of technical bachelor’s degree programmes.

In addition, you can expect practically relevant teamwork and learning, a friendly atmosphere and professors who care about your wellbeing.
