As the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Health Studies, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our faculty. In our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes, we will train you for a role in the social and health care sector. Each programme allows you to define your own profile and career goals – from hands-on social work or therapeutic care up to managing and administering social or health services.
In line with the mission of Kempten University of Applied Sciences, we can enable you to achieve “competence driven by networked diversity”. All our degree programmes are characterised by an interdisciplinary approach. We are well integrated into research networks and maintain excellent contacts with employers in the local region. Besides our own faculty’s 23 professors, you will be taught by numerous teaching fellows based in the sector. Our dedicated administrative team is on hand throughout your whole time as a student to offer advice and support. We are a close-knit, friendly community – striving to work with students in small groups and to build close relations with each student! We firmly believe that our university of applied sciences should be a place where everyone enjoys learning and working.
