What about questions before you enrol as a student?

If you are thinking of studying at Kempten University of Applied Sciences, the University Student Advisory Service will be happy to help. They can provide more details about degree programmes and the conditions and requirements for studying in Kempten.

Information & news

You don’t need to visit our office to do the following things:

Request a registration form for your final thesis

  • The process for registering final theses is now digital for all faculties (since 15 March 2021). Your supervisor is now your first point of call in this respect.

If your supervisor wants one or more printed copies of your thesis

  • Simply place additional copies in the outside letterbox at Building V (download map here), which is located on the north side of the building (this is large enough for theses) and address them directly with the name of your supervisor.
  • Or if you would like to send the additional work(s) by post, please add a note directly to your supervisor (such as “For the attention of....”).
Please note: Only students in the faculties of Business Administration or Social & Health Sciences are permitted to submit final theses or their PRP with spiral binding; in the other faculties, a “book binding” is required.
  • In addition, on 1 October 2023 it became mandatory on all degree programmes for students to submit a digital copy of their thesis. Please contact your supervisor or Academic Registry for information on the exact procedure.

Practical semester handing in contracts, certificates or reports

  • Printed contracts / reports: Send by post to Academic Registry, or place in the letterbox (ground floor inside Building D or letterbox outside Building V)
  • Certificates can also be emailed.

Submit all kinds of documents, e.g. pension insurance form, BAföG certificate, academic certificates, etc.

  • Send by post to Academic Registry
  • Place in the letterbox (ground floor inside Building D or letterbox outside Building V)
  • Officially authenticated copies can never be sentby email to Academic Registry, as this defeats the purpose entirely!
  • If you don’t need an inked stamp by us on a document, you can submit it by email. If you send us anything by email, we will return an electronic copy of the completed and stamped document.

All kinds of applications, e.g. for study credits, post-registration for exams, etc.

  • Email Academic Registry: studienamt(at)hs-kempten.de .
  • If you wish to apply for exmatriculation, leave of absence or a refund of your semester fee, or if you need to change any personal details, please do so online using MeinCampus. The instructions for these procedures can be found here.

For all other enquiries, please send an email (stating your student ID no. and degree programme) to studienamt(at)hs-kempten.de. Contact details, incl. the appropriate telephone numbers, are provided in the box to the right.

Yours sincerely,
Academic Registry
