Acquisition requests

You are welcome to suggest literature that is not stocked in our university library (or not enough copies) for purchase.

You can either talk to our team at the lending counter or send an email to library(at)hs-kempten.de.

Please cite your name and library user number together with the following information, so that we can process your acquisition request quickly:

• Author
• Title
• Publisher and location
• Publication date, edition
• ISBN / ISSN

We will then consider the request with regard to the subject matter and funding.

If we action the purchase, as soon as it is entered into our system, you will be marked as the first user to take it on loan.

Please appreciate that we cannot meet every acquisition request.

You will be better off ordering older literature or books that you need at short notice as an inter-library loan.
Older – and particularly foreign-language – literature is not always immediately available.

We are pleased to receive requests for acquisitions and will always do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
