1. Kempten University of Applied Sciences
  2. Library
  3. Research
  4. Database Information System (DBIS)

DBIS contains all the scientific databases that Kempten University Library has licences for together with free-access online databases.

Access

Members of Kempten University of Applied Sciences can also access DBIS outside the university network, using their Campus ID.
If you are not a university member, you can only access our databases inside the University Library.

How to use DBIS

You can use our databases to consult scientific articles and papers and check facts and figures/statistics.
Many databases provide direct access to relevant articles for your research, i.e. you can read the full text and download it.
Some databases only provide bibliographical details for the articles that you are interested in, i.e. not the full text. You can order these sources by requesting an inter-library loan.

The databases are sorted according to degree programme.
First, select your subject area to access the list of all relevant databases.
Select the database of your choice and click on the access link: “Recherche starten”.
