As a central body, the University Library is responsible for supplying the University with literature and information for research and teaching. Furthermore, it makes its resources available for scientific and professional purposes as well as for educational and continuous trainings to anyone who is interested. We are always happy to respond to questions and suggestions.

Besides the core literature on business science, social and health studies, tourism, electrical engineering, computer science and mechanical engineering, the library is also well stocked with general reference works and academic literature.

Kempten University of Applied Sciences Library holds approximately 100,000 books. It also subscribes to some 230 periodicals, regional and national newspapers (reference only). In addition, you can access over 400,000 electronic books and 62,000 electronic periodicals via our databases.

Please note our Information on using the library and opening hours. We would also like to point out that opening times differ between lecturing and non-lecturing periods.
