Your point of contact throughout your studies

From day one right through to your finals – we are on hand to help students with any issues concerning their studies. Get in touch with our team about any administrative aspects of your studies or legal matters. Academic Registry is the place to collect official certificates, apply for academic credits, arrange leave of absence or exmatriculate.

You can contact any of the staff listed in the contacts box for Academic Registry – in complete confidentiality. (Please bear in mind that we might not always be able to answer the phone straight away when we have visitors during opening hours.)

Existing students can register for examinations, check grades, re-enrol or amend contact details simply using Mein Campus

What about questions before you enrol as a student?

If you are thinking of studying at Kempten University of Applied Sciences, the University Student Advisory Service will be happy to help. The team can provide more details about degree programmes and the conditions and requirements for studying in Kempten.

Information / News

The following list shows what you can do without needing to visit our office:

Request a registration form for your final thesis

  • Since 15 March 2021, the registration process for final theses has been digitalised in all faculties. Your supervisor is now your first point of call in this respect.

Submit your final thesis

  • To submit your thesis, please either deposit it in the letterbox on the outside of the north-facing wall of Building V (download map here), which is large enough for this purpose, or
  • Send it by post to Academic Registry. However, please note that it’s not the date of the postmark that counts – but rather, submissions must have arrived on site by midnight on the stated deadline.

Practical semester – handing in contracts, certificates or reports

  • Printed contracts / reports: Send by post to Academic Registry, or place into letterbox (ground floor inside Building D or letterbox outside Building V)
  • Certificates can also be emailed.

Presenting all kinds of documents, e.g. proof of health insurance, pension insurance form, BAföG certificate, academic certificates, etc.

  • Send by post to Academic Registry
  • Place into letterbox (ground floor inside Building D or letterbox outside Building V)
  • Never simply email an image of an officially authenticated copy to Academic Registry, as this defeats the purpose entirely!
  • If you don’t need a inked stamp by us on a document, you can submit it by email. If you send us anything by email, we will return an electronic copy of the completed and stamped document.

All kinds of applications, e.g. for study credits, post-registration for exams, etc.

  • Send by post to Academic Registry
  • Place into letterbox (ground floor inside Building D or letterbox outside Building V)
  • If you wish to apply for exmatriculation, leave of absence or a refund of your semester fee, or if you need to change any personal details, please do so online using MeinCampus. The instructions for these procedures can be found here.

For all other enquiries, please send an email (stating your student ID no. and degree programme) to studienamt(at)hs-kempten.de. Contact details, incl. the appropriate telephone numbers, are provided in the box to the right.

Yours sincerely,
Academic Registry
