Courses for beginners, advanced and professionals

Would you like to learn the basic techniques of digging and hitting? No problem! Would you like to perfect your serve and learn more about volleyball set-up and tactics? You can also do that! In university volleyball, you can join at any level and train with players who are at the same stage as you.

Who can take part?
Every student is very welcome to join volleyball! We offer classes for different ability levels, building on existing skills.

When and where do you play?
Training times and location are listed in the current sports programme.

Range of courses

  • Group I: Suitable for players who want to learn or refine the basic techniques (hitting, digging, serving, attacking) and transfer them to free play.
  • Group II advanced volleyball: Suitable for players who have mastered the basic techniques (plank, dig, serve, attack), would like to learn more complex movements (attacking stroke, block, pike dig etc.) and transfer them into free play.
  • Group III: Suitable for everyone who enjoys volleyball and would like to intensively transfer what they have learned into free play. Also, for anyone interested in joining the men’s university team that plays in Allgäu Volleyball (https://ek-volley.de/). If you are interested in the university team, please contact Jonas Herrmann (via the WhatsApp group). On Wednesdays, two courts can be set up so that team training can take place alongside free play.

What should I bring?

  • Comfortable sportswear
  • Indoor trainers with light-coloured soles
  • Light spirits and enjoyment of playing volleyball
