You can only register for the examination in a major or compulsory elective module if you have already enrolled in the class. The dates and procedures for enrolling (for e.g. general elective modules, subject-specific modules, majors, etc.) can differ according to faculty. You can find detailed instructions for enrolments in MeinCampus in the Downloads section.

You must enrol online via MeinCampus – or, if you are in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, using the enrolment system in the Info-Pointduring office opening hours.

Enrolment phases

  • First enrolment round
    Enrolments are open. Sign up now for the courses that you wish to take.
  • First enrolment round – allocations
    Places are allocated to the various courses. Enrolments are closed. You will be notified of the outcome of enrolments within the next couple of days. You can check enrolments yourself in MeinCampus under “My courses”.
  • Second enrolment round
    You can find out which courses might not be happening due to insufficient demand or are already fully booked. You can enrol for courses that still have spaces remaining during the second round, if required. Second-round enrolments are performed in MeinCampus via the university course catalogue (switch to show the following semester, if applicable).
  • Second-round allocations
    Enrolments are blocked. Places are allocated during the second enrolment round. After about a day, you can check the outcome of enrolments yourself in MeinCampus under “My courses”.
  • Check outcome
    Enrolments have now closed. You can check the final place allocations following enrolments yourself in MeinCampus under “My courses”.
