In order to successfully reach graduation, students must study all the subjects specified in the relevant programme and examination regulations. You can find the examination regulations hereduring office opening hours.
Examinations are held during the examinations period (see list of datesfor short). In addition, during the lecturing period you might be required to perform certain additional tasks (practical classes, written tests, or coursework) in order to be admitted to examinations. The tests for the general compulsory elective subjects are already conducted towards the end of the lecturing period, as a matter of course. Details of the precise dates are posted on noticeboards and in the central examination schedule, being announced by the university no later than two weeks before the start of the examinations period.

If you have any further questions, or if you feel that you need assistance, please contact Academic Registryduring office opening hours.
Any electronic devices that could be used to cheat in an examination (e.g. mobile phones, smartphones, smart watches and similar devices for exchanging data and/or communications) must be switched off and kept in a bag under the table. Any such devices that are switched on are fundamentally regarded as an attempt to cheat; the examination is thus deemed to have been failed. Decisions on such matters are made at the discretion of the supervisor and/or examiners.
The fundamental rule is that you must register for all examinations by the deadline. The registration process is carried out online in MeinCampusduring office opening hours. The exact dates for registering for exams can be found under Datesduring office opening hours.
As a rule, you will be able to check your grades from the final day of each examinations period in the self-service portal.
