Are your pupils interested in studying – would they like to take a look behind the scenes at our university of applied sciences? We run a wide range of events for you to offer the prospective students in your classes an authentic taster of what this involves. If you’d like to introduce them to university life,
“Campus Day” is a great opportunity to get the answers to all your burning questions. The “Campus Reporter” is a great way for your pupils to learn all about being a student. Our session on “Using the library for research” will help you prepare for running a w-seminar (pre-university educational seminar).
What can I study at Kempten University of Applied Sciences? Should I study in Kempten? Do I need certain grades to study? All will be revealed in a talk given by the Student Advisory Service with the aid of a current student. This half-day visit includes the chance to attend a lecture and explore the library. If you like, you can also go on a guided tour of campus.
Successfully trialled and requested time and again – the “Campus Reporter” format. The school class/es is/are divided into groups to think about aspects such as workload, learning and student life. The answers to the questions compiled by your pupils will be provided by people on campus or, after the taster lecture, students or lecturers. The groups then collate their results and share the information they’ve gathered with the others. You should allow a whole day (approx. 6-7 hours) for this event. You’re all warmly invited to sample the menu in our canteen during the lunch break.
Our university library runs a wide range of advisory and training sessions – from induction to using the library through to tips on conducting research, as provided in its W-seminars, for instance. For further information and to sign up, please go to the: Library homepage.
If you like the idea of something slightly different for once, we’d be delighted to host your teachers’ meeting on our campus. We can happily organise complementary interesting guided laboratory tours or presentations of research projects, with lunch served in the university canteen. If you’d like to consider this offer, please let us know (Link) the kind of subjects you would be interested in and proposed dates. [Modul Powermail Formular einsetzen]

Humans perceive their own bodies and the world around them with their senses. We use the School Pupils’ Laboratory at Kempten University of Applied Sciences to conduct a series of experiments with you and your class that reveal amazing facts about human sensory perception. Your pupils get to spend some time outside school independently investigating and conducting their own experiments under expert guidance.
