Universities are responsible for publishing statutes. In so doing, they must observe the directives outlined in the Ordinance for University Statutes (“Verordnung über die Bekanntmachung von Hochschulsatzungen” – HSchBekV) dated 4 November 1993 (GVBl p. 848), as amended on 15 December 2004 (GVBl p. 580).
Pursuant to § 2 HSchBekV, a statute is announced once it has been set in writing. Kempten University of Applied Sciences has stipulated the following procedure:
Each written statute is placed in the rooms of the library (87435 Kempten, Bahnhofstr. 61) for public inspection during the general opening hours (Mon, Tue & Thu: 7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wed: 7:45 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Fri: 7:45 a.m. – 3 p.m.). An announcement of the statute is posted in the Central Administration notice box on the ground floor in Building V.
The statute is also published on the website run by Kempten University of Applied Sciences.

Note from university management
These provisions are published in order to enable people to search quickly for information, so their accuracy cannot be guaranteed. The official announcement is not replaced by these webpages; the sole definitive and legally binding version is the official written record.
The official version can also be inspected in the library. Since 1 January 2005, the university’s own statutes have only been published online, i.e. on its website. The original versions can be inspected in the library at Kempten University of Applied Sciences.
