Alumni Cambodunum - Absolventenvereinigung der Hochschule Kempten e.V.
The Alumni Cambodunum – graduates’ association at Kempten University of Applied Sciences e.V. is the umbrella association for graduates from all degree programmes at Kempten University of Applied Sciences.
It is an independent organisation with no political affiliation. It acts charitably and primarily pursues non-profit-making objectives.

Aims
The aims of this registered association are:
- To maintain contact between graduates of Kempten University of Applied Sciences, as supported by a membership list that is accessible to every ordinary member. Informal conversations at regular meetings and events create the basis for networking know-how.
- To promote professional development The association endeavours to run a wide range of events, addressing hot topics that will benefit alumni.
- To promote teaching at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. Only after students have graduated can/will they find out at work which subject matter covered in lectures and internships were pertinent to their job, and which not. Forthright feedback from our alumni can therefore help hone the practical focus of our degree programmes.
- We strive to assist students at Kempten University of Applied Sciences with concerns such as finding their first job or identifying a suitable career, also making it easy to contact the relevant people for arranging internships, bachelor’s theses, etc.
- To promote the transfer of technology and knowledge at Kempten University of Applied Sciences. A major aspect. This long-term aspiration involves continuously weaving further links between the university and industry – to the benefit of Kempten as a business location and the economic region of Allgäu.
- To cultivate contacts with industry. We create links for businesses with students, graduates and lecturers. This interface benefits both individual staff members and companies, enabling us to broaden the discussion of cutting issues and thus harness synergy effects.
Executive Board
The Executive Board was elected for a two-year period of office by the general assembly in November 2019. The Executive Board consists of:

The association is also supported by the similarly elected Advisory Board.
The Executive Board determines the association’s business in collaboration with the working parties, i.e. compiling the current list of members and drawing up a programme of events. It also fulfils its statutory responsibilities.

Become a member
Membership is open primarily to graduates of Kempten University of Applied Sciences, together with sponsoring members, who feel a special affiliation with Kempten University of Applied Sciences. The annual fee for ordinary or sponsoring members is € 45, while students are exempt and companies pay double that rate. Anyone joining the association with one year of graduating pays only half the fee for the initial period.

All members are invited/able to influence the policies of the association by taking part in the general assemblies and other events, so active membership is positively encouraged.
