Networking evenings are held on a regular basis with representatives of regional companies and key figures in politics and society. Kaufbeuren’s Chief Mayor Stefan Bosse and the IDF management send out invitations.
These Innovation Meetings take place at different locations, with companies around the region opening their doors to host the events. The institute delivers a keynote speech on a scientific topic, followed by a speaker from the host company showcasing its innovation potential to the public. We also appreciate figures in regional and national politics appearing as guest speakers – for example, besides Chief Mayor Stefan Bosse, we have already welcomed Member of the Bundestag Stephan Stracke and Landtag Members Peter Wachler and Bernhard Pohl in this capacity to our events. The short talks are usually followed by a tour of the company, and the evenings are rounded off with a friendly chat over snacks and drinks.
