Kempten University of Applied Sciences is headed by a Presidium, consisting of the President, three Vice Presidents and the Chancellor. The management team is particularly responsible for continuously developing and directing the university.
The President represents Kempten University of Applied Sciences to the outside world. As the chair of the executive board, they launch initiatives to spur development and draft the underlying objectives of university policy. They implement the decisions made by the central collegiate bodies and perform the duties accorded to them in the Bavarian Higher Education Act. They inform Senate and University Council of the ground rules for the distribution of staffing and funds. The President’s term of office runs for ten semesters.
The Vice Presidents assist in the fulfilment of the President’s duties. The Chancellor is responsible for the university’s finances and heads its administration.
