We ascribe to the values of openness, tolerance and acceptance. Our aim is to teach everyone involved at Kempten University of Applied Sciences about education in an international context. As part of this, we support university-wide, inter-faculty measures to promote international projects and cross-cultural interaction. We pursue six aims within the framework of this internationalisation strategy:

  1. Expanding our practical focus internationally
  2. Preparing our students for globalisation
  3. Increasing our proportion of international students
  4. Intensifying and encouraging lecturer exchanges
  5. Participating in international research and development
  6. Strengthening and anchoring international structures.

European Seal of Quality

The German Academic Exchange Service (Der Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst – DAAD) awarded Kempten University of Applied Sciences the European Seal of Quality “E-Quality” in June 2009. This illustrious accolade recognises particularly good implementation of the mobility measures provided by the Erasmus Programme . The DAAD presents this award once a year for special services and performance in the Erasmus exchange programme between German and foreign students and lecturers. It is designed to incentivise universities to keep on improving the quality of their European exchange activities. Some 65 of our over 100 partner universities at Kempten University of Applied Sciences are Erasmus+ partners.
