1. Start applying for your master’s programme

Before you start your application, please check the admission criteria for your chosen master’s degree programme.

You will usually need the following to apply:

• A first university degree or an equivalent qualification
• The programme-specific criteria for your chosen master’s degree programme
• Additional evidence where applicable, such as language skills or practical experience

As the criteria may vary depending on the degree programme, please check the details carefully in advance.

Prepare all the necessary documents in a digital format as early as possible.

Depending on the master’s degree programme, different supporting documents might be required, for example:

• Degree certificate and transcript or records
• Proof of language proficiency
• Further programme-specific documents

For certain degree programmes, additional documents such as a personal statement, essays, a CV or further supporting documents may be required.

Tip:
Save your documents as PDF, jpg or png files where possible. This will make it easy for you to upload them to the application portal later on.

As soon as have prepared your documents, you can start your application. Applications are submitted online via our applications portal “MeinCampus”:

• Log in using your applicant ID and start your application.
