General information
Our Campus Choir at Kempten University of Applied Sciences started out, under the direction of Frank Müller, in the 2013/14 winter semester – and has being going strong ever since. Our repertoire includes songs from a wide variety of genres (such as rock, pop, musicals, etc.). We basically sing whatever takes our fancy.
Besides students, we would also be delighted to welcome members of staff at the university into our ranks. Our choir regards itself not just as a “student choir”, but as a university choir. We want to enable students, alumni and university staff who love singing to connect with one another, and to plan and carry out musical projects together. In addition to performances (e.g. at the Allgäu University Fair) and concerts, we organise outings as well as our regular “sing-along”.
How to join
Students can sign up for the Campus Choir at the start of each semester (within the first two to three weeks) via MeinCampus.
Alumni and staff members should please contact the university choir’s representatives via the website.
Rehearsals usually take place every Tuesday from the start of the semester, from 5.30 to 7.30 p.m . The rehearsal room and exact times can be found on MeinCampus (Course Catalogue – Centre for General Electives and Languages – Additional Activities).
