Hokus

This non-profit association is known widely for the Campus Open Air event and semester launch parties. A small group of us usually meets once a week to discuss what’s going on at the university and forthcoming events. Besides the two obvious events, we organise concert and theatre visits, trips to cities, brewery tours, assessment centres, glamping weekends, BBQ parties, and many other activities. Anyone who would like to get involved above and beyond studying with goings-on at the university is very welcome to join in. The association is always keen to support virtually all interests in terms of staffing, design, funding or by putting good connections to use. Hokus e.V. regards itself, alongside the university, as a community that shapes character and fosters the personal development of young, committed individuals. We enable students from all over the world to experience the university town of Kempten in full. Drawing on our own experiences, we organise social, interactive and cultural activities to make student life what it is – often described as the “best days of your life”.
