VWI Hochschulgruppe Kempten e.V.

The VWI is the “Association of German Industrial Engineers”.
Student VWI members are offered a wealth of information, activities, contacts, fun and support for both starting out in their career and their personal development. We offer talks on contemporary topics relating to your studies and career, and regularly organise excursions, workshops, parties and other events.

As a link between industry, the umbrella organisation and the university, student groups benefit from the advantages of this network. A strong argument for getting involved outside university is the chance to meet new friends and like-minded people from all over Germany – Mixing with lots of interesting people at lectures, seminars and other events. At the same time, you’ll build up your personal network.

Besides numerous nationwide events such as the HGV, the “kreati” case studies, the VWI Pentathlon, VWIeWissen and networking fairs at various locations, the organisation also runs local activities.

These include

• Excursions to companies offering insights into the professional world
• Social events: Most university groups organise parties to which students from other campuses are often invited.
• Lectures and seminars
