Werdegang

Dr. Tobias Peylo ist Professor für Betriebswirtschaft und Finanzierung. Die Schwerpunkte seiner Forschung und Lehre liegen in den Bereichen Green Finance, Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement und Portfolio-/Risikomanagement.

Gleichzeitig forscht und konzipiert er in internationalen Projekten gemeinsam mit Banken und Zentralbanken zu den Themen Klimarisikomanagement und Green Finance.

Nach finanzwirtschaftlichem Studium und einer Bankausbildung studierte er berufsbegleitend den MBA-Studiengang Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement an der Universität Lüneburg und promovierte dort.

Dr. Peylo arbeitete zunächst in mehreren Unternehmensberatungen mit den Schwerpunkten Risikomanagement und Regulatorik. Danach war er bei der Finanz Informatik als Inhouse- und Management-Berater mit den Schwerpunkten Banksteuerung und Unternehmens-planung tätig. Als Referent beim Sparkassenverband Baden-Württemberg widmete er sich zehn Jahre der Strategieentwicklung sowie der Verankerung und Umsetzung des Themas Nachhaltigkeit in den Sparkassen.

Er ist Autor diverser wissenschaftlicher Veröffentlichungen zu Themenstellungen in den Bereichen Risikomanagement, Unternehmensplanung und Nachhaltiges Finanzwesen und Lehrbeauftragter für Sustainable Finance an der Universität Lüneburg.
